  1. Item examples are necessary because sometimes nodes have no products listed in them etc. But I think the bottom is acceptable.
  2. MP3 Downloads are not available under the Music category
  3. Search box can't handle quotes
  4. Adsense banner cuts off some nodes in FF 3.5
Will find more once I get to using it. Thanks!

Possible to add small icon/link beside each node to Amazon.com node's page?
As sometime need to see more details...

Example:
Bedroom Armoires 3733271 + (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss? ... %3D3733271 or something like that)

littletoons,
The MP3s are now available as their own category. Also, the search box should now work with quotes.

sexydexie,
Great suggestion. We've added small icons next to each browse node with pop you out to the Amazon node page.

Thanks guys,
Justin

The site is FindBrowseNodes.com. It's a new site we are developing.

It's in beta and there are a few domains that redirect into it, but the main domain is:
http://www.findbrowsenodes.com

We welcome any feedback you might have.

Thanks!

Justin
Hi Justin,

I personally find "FindBrowseNodes.com" to be a GREAT time saver! Though, for some reason, lately I keep on getting the following message with all searches:

Home > All Products (car)

Your search for car did match any browse nodes.

Suggestions:
Make sure all words are spelled correctly
Try different keywords
Try more general keywords
Try fewer keywords

Could you please look into it? Thank you!!

Magazines are not found nor the node listed within the site as well.

Thanks. It was related to the changes I made last week.

Things appear to be working again.

I'm a little new at this, but I'm having some trouble finding a way to do what I want with Brose Nodes.

Basically, I want to make separate catagories for a specific brand. Here's what I mean.

American Apparel has a browse node: 2491485011
If you go to that page on Amazon, it lists some options. If you click on say, Men's Pants, it takes you to the page for men's pants from American Apparel.

But when you take the BBN from the URL and access the node directly, it turns out it's just the generic browse node for *all* Men's Pants!

What's going on here, and is there a way I can replicate whatever Amazon is doing with browse nodes in AOM?

Amazon is probably using the keywords "American Apparel" in the URL (look for 'American+Apparel'). Try using those keywords with the node. You can use negative keywords to clean up anything left over (like '-wrangers' '-dockers', etc.).

I suppose that's possible, but the URLs that Amazon returns for brand searches are pretty odd. I'm not sure how to parse them.

For the aforementioned example of American Apparel men's pants:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=brand_abn_1 ... %3A1045558

The word American Apparel is surrounded by %3A, which is a colon, and %2C, which is a comma. Pretty strange encoding they have going on there.
