Finally saw "normal" completed order numbers for Nov 13th. Still have not seen any order updates for dates prior to this.

Just adding my voice to this thread.
I think I'm being affected as well, but I have not seen the orders go back to normal yet.

Is anybody here still affected by this problem.
I have a US Affiliate site and a UK Affiliate Site.

Albert.

Current data appears fine, but past data does not appear to have been corrected yet.

I am still not confident about the shopping cart problem! I believe their are still some issues. One is regarding IE (Internet Explorer) and crediting affiliates. Info is getting lost with some updated or new IE browsers! Start looking at the AOM shopping cart reports, and check your tracking program to see what the customer is actually using for a browser! And see if that particular item in that report converted into a sale. Is there a pattern in browser conversions and non conversions?

I contacted Amazon this morning for a statement on the shopping cart issue, and my question was: Is the API Cart 100% resolved, and have all affiliates been credited for the shopping cart issue problem!

From what I understand monitoring the Associate forum, the aStore cart issue is still not resolved!

I contacted Amazon (Feedback) and they confirmed they can track my site.

"have reviewed the Associates link on the web page, www.pinkdivashop.com, and have found that the link is formatted correctly. We are able to track activity and sales placed via this link.

Please bear in mind that a click does not always equal a purchase as many visitors will browse several items during a single shopping session. You'll earn advertising fees when a visitor to your site clicks a link to Amazon.com and, in turn, purchases something within that shopping session."

I am still dubious about whether the problem has been fixed or not as my conversion rate is 1.72%
In September and October it was over 20% so a 10x drop month to month sounds unrealistic.

Visitors are clicking so I'd expect more sales. The site sells Womens clothing and accessories that are pink. With the Christmas party season upon us I kind of expected a bit of an uptick.
For Clicks this definitely happened, but the sales have just tanked.

I have no idea what to try next.

Thats the standard reply used by Amazon before their announcement on November 11 confirming a problem with the shopping cart!

I have not received an answer yet on my question concerning Amazon's November 11th announcement! :(

They are not replying to any of my questions either. Very Slack!

Jason (or was it Justin?),

Would you mind trying your contacts at Amazon again. There formal notice suggested that orders would be backfilled by next week which was the 18th. It is not three weeks later and still no fix or no word one when orders will be backfilled.

Cheers

Hi guys,

I have been kept up with this topic for a while. Amazon.de just send me a check from the Shopping Cart issue. It seems like Amazon Worldwide is working on this issue. Since Amazon.com is larger, they will have to process a LOT of affiliates about the missed sales.

That's weird.

From their notice they were going to backfill orders which you would have to assume meant that it would appear in our reports and we would be paid normally which is about 60 days afterwards.

Did the missing sales turn up in your reports or did you just get a check earlier for some nominated amount that you have no way of checking is correct or not??

If you just got a cheque with no breakdown do you think the payment represents the difference between what you expected and what you were credited with through the reports??

Amazon does have some sort of audit procedure in place to credit affiliates for whatever! This has been going on for awhile, and more than likely is not tied to the shopping cart problem! If and when they credit the affiliates, I hope there is a breakdown of that credit. From what I'm reading lately, Amazon has other problems in general with their affiliate program reporting! It isn't just the cart.....

I have been paid out a lump sum with no details once before a few months back but for this problem they actually stated they would backfill by the 18th. Obviously we are well overtime.

As long as I get paid I suppose :)

Well, either I flukes orders in September and October and now the true sites conversion rate is being shown to be very very low or Amazon is still not registering orders.

My site only gets about 50 clicks a month so statistically very hard to tell what the trend is.
brother than 20%+ conversion in September and October. November 1.6%. December so far 0%.
I assume there is no way to check which situation is true.

My plan in the new year is to add more amazon stores for other categories, so I'm a bit concerned about the reliability of Amazon.

1 of my 2 sites received orders overnight, so fingers crossed that's it sorted.
