I want to know what you think about www.dvdcent.com
Re: www.dvdcent.com
I'm not crazy about it:
1. No logo or header of any kind - what's the name of the store? How will customers know?
2. The width seems too wide, at least for my resolution. Nobody likes having to scroll left and right.
3. The boxes on the left side are different sizes, and doesn't look good.
4. The Amazon video widget is probably okay on the home page, but I think it's a big mistake to put it on the other pages. If I click on an item, I want to see that item, not the widget again. And putting it on the shopping cart page is a major turn-off. Anything that distracts from clicking that "Checkout" button will cost you sales.
5. No original content - meaning nothing to differentiate you from countless other shops selling the same product. No chance of any decent page rank in the search engines. Nothing to tell me who you are, and why I should shop with you.
I'm not trying to come down hard on you, but a) you asked. And b) six months from now, when you've made zero sales, at least you'll know why.
Nothing on this list that's not fixable, however. If you correct them now, you'll have a better chance at attracting and keeping customers. No promises that making these changes will make you rich, but I'm pretty certain you'll make zilch if you don't do at least some of them.

Re: www.dvdcent.com
Thanks for the replay. I keep to change all the things, will order also a great designed header from designer (what is the needed width?)
I have changed the width to 60%.
Had already 2 salles, but thats far away from my goal.

Looks much better already. Like I said, I wasn't trying to tear down your store, but I assume you asked in order to get some constructive criticism. Keep working at it, and best of luck with it.

Here is the fixed store: http://www.dvdcent.com. Looking for more ideas/critics.
I plan to add some custom pages with unique content - for better SEO. I know where to add this pages, but dont know how to publish it at left side menu, i dont want enabling tabs.

Site looks a whole lot better, good job. It's a real improvement.
You can do one of two things for links to your custom pages - Put them in the category menu (as an URL category), or enable the Information box (under the Boxes tab in the control panel).

Re: www.dvdcent.com
You might want to consider a fixed width because scrolling is still needed as Mike said.. You might want to try a 960px fixed width since the percentages are still very high for people using 1080 resolution at the moment...

Re: www.dvdcent.com
Where to change this? I can't find this option :S
Enter the overall width of your store. It can be a percentage (e.g. 100%) or a pixel width integer (e.g. 750). Note: Your store pages can still go beyond this width depending on the size of images you specify and the location of custom content boxes.
It is working for home page, but not for products page.
EDIT: please test it now, i have an 24" WS, so there can't check

Re: www.dvdcent.com
A lot of the product pages break the frame because Amazon formats them with scenes from the movie in question. You can't really do anything about that, and as it says in the control panel, Your store pages can still go beyond this width.
