Associate-O-Matic v2.8.1 released

Post by associate-o-matic » Sat Apr 22, 2006 8:54 pm

This release fixes a few bugs and adds some new features. This release applies to both the Full and Lite versions and is free to those who have purchased an Associate-O-Matic v2.x license.

Here is what's new in this release:

• New Feature: Updated default node for UK - Toys.
• New Feature: Buy Button New Window setting let's you control whether or not buy buttons to Amazon (Lite and Full w/cart turned off) open a new browser window
• New Feature: Some items are not available thru Amazon's API though their item number is returned at times. In these cases, they now default to the Error Item Not Available which is also used when an item is no longer for sale.
• Bug Fix: SOAP requests had an invalid tag introduced in v2.8. This is now fixed.
• Bug Fix: Non applicable item details now filtered (e.g. Music Label under Electronics, Manufacturer under Books, etc.)
• Bug Fix: Raw item attribute values that were boolean (1 or 0) such as Batteries Included, Has Red Eye Reduction, etc. now say Yes or No.
• Bug Fix: Reviews link was broken when a search returned only one item.
