I have several very old stores, like from 2009 or before. They are no longer pulling in cash and I want to upgrade them with the newest AOM version.
How do I do that without starting from scratch?

Google Tricks to know
Did you make the transition to Wordpress/FreshStore for your stores? I did, and I regretted it immediately. Wordpress was the darling of Google for several years. Google ranked WP sites much higher than html sites. I did some research and found out that the big G's love for Wordpress had fallen sign...

Re: PRAISE for AOM
Hi. How do I deal with adsense? I don't do adsense. I stopped doing any kind of ads like that years ago. Do the big stores use adsense? No. To me it reeks of amateur sites. Instead, I joined share-a-sale and find pretty display ads for products similar to what I'm selling that fit in the right colum...

PRAISE for AOM
Just wanted to say that I have used AOM pretty much since it started. That's a long time. I've built MANY stores. Some didn't fly but some did. The ones that are still up are producing quite well. I do little to no updating of these sites and they are still paying me monthly. A while ago when Fresh...

An interesting and important observation
While updating two old stores I discovered a fault in my research technique that needs to be addressed. Store1: Has incredibly good traffic, great SEO and page 1 ranking. but only sells an occasional item. Rate of sale is about 7% of the available online marketplace. Store2: Is ranked on p 1, Has a ...

Updating an ancient store
I'm updating an ancient store that for some reason has started to make good money again. I can't remember how to find the store username and password. I thought it was the cfg.login.php but that doesn't seem to be it.

Re: Mobile Optimization
I was just thinking the same thing. If I do an amazon store with wordpress I can use a theme that will automatically provide these options, but not for the php version. We kinda need that to keep up with the rest of the webworld. I've actually been making more wp stores than AOM for this reason. Amy...

A little trick to get lots more traffic.
I figured this out a long time ago. Just never thought to share it. I'm not sure it could be integrated throughout the AOM script, but I use it on my non AOM index pages. I live in south florida where a good part of the population is hispanic. I goto yahoo bablefish and translate the entire index pa...

Wow, that's nasty. You can't get your site ranked without trying to ruin the seo of another site??

Re: Mike? selling some sites
Well a couple of them I"ll just turn into wordpress amazon stores. Got several of those, too, and the buyer doesn't have to buy the software.

Hardly makes them worth selling if they have to come up with the money for the script.

Mike? selling some sites
I have some sites I want to sell. Sites that need more backlinking and other promotion than I'm not willing to do right now.
Does the buyer have to also buy AOM? How does that work?

Re: Funny phone call I got.
It was a kinda fun call though, because I set them right at every point. Then they got to the part about them knowing so much more than I could know, I told them I was an SEO expert and did SEO for people. I said I'd rather spend my $350 buying 35 domains for my own stores. They countered with but t...
