Leaving Amazon Affiliates Selling Domains

Hi, Because I am taking a position with Amazon as an employee, I'm going to be selling my AOM stores and other unused domain names. Please contact me directly for the details at support@manorstores.com. Buyer would be responsible for transfer costs via escrow agent and I will provide the AOM configu...

Re: Changes to Amazon's Product Advertising API

I got the same, the message implies that the reveiws can be displayed using the link, so I'm not sure if they mean a pull from their main site or if it is supposed to be a link that takes customers to amazon. If it is a link that goes to Amazon taking the customer off of my site, it would need to em...

Show Recent History (Items Clicked) By a Shopper

Ever want to show the last few items the user clicked on so they can go back to them? Here's one way... I use these scripts on all of my sites and right now the script placement is limited to the right or left columns. Feel free to edit the output script but you need to be very familiar with how quo...

Re: Has anyone tried the AOM-Extender?

It seems to me that you could so 90% of the functionality by simply reading the AOM docs and implementing it withing the current control panel which gets better and better with each release. Plus, let's say you bought this thing, not supported by the friendly AOM folks, and Justin does a major overh...

Request: New Custom Box Type: ASIN Cluster

Hi Justin, This feature would answer a lot of requests for 'featured items' types of displays. Basically, it would be a custom box, which can be positioned BT, BB, PT, PB, R, L (so formatting might be an issue). I want to put a comma delimited list of ASIN's into the box configuration. You would mak...

Re: ANY param on ANY URL in Custom Box prevents PHP execution

I really don't think it has anything to do with the .htaccess or rewrite settings. My experience is that custom boxes that have php calls do not process the arguments passed (params). If you think about it, for AOM to try and parse all the possible combinations of arguments, quoted/un-quoted etc... ...

Tag Cloud Not Always Displaying

Hi, Sorry I've been out of the loop for a while, we just finished a really tough pregnancy, but with a great result, 2 girls and 1 boy, all healthy. Anyhoo... I *REALLY* love the new features in v4.1, especially the new tags in the SEO section, thanks. The problem I'm having is that the Tag clouds s...

Hmmm... The board says I do not have the permissions needed to see the atachment, and I'd really like to take a look at it. Can you pop it up on a site somewhere that I could download it and post a url for it's location? Thanks...

Re: Affiliate Advertisement Manager

Hi, I haven't really done anything with it other than a preliminary database schema and some test screens. There are some very simple models I was looking at up on sourceforge.net, but nothing that caught my eye. My current inclination is to take a model very similar to the ones at walmart, kmart, o...

Re: Paid user - Mod-rewrite not working - 404 errors

It's been a while since I looked at this so I'm not sure which version fixed this, but THANKS! by being able to put the rewrites in the httpd.conf file and outside of a per directory context <directory> it allows me to manage all of my rewrites for all of my sites on my VPS from one file (httpd.conf...
