Re: Looks like the end for Amazon affiliates
You have to understand what google wants. User experience is the major key for search engines. No cookie cutters. Added value. You are right if you say, there are other big brands with DC from product data wich seem to perform well. But they offer other value like price comparison or product reviews...

Re: Site not showing in google search results, but #10 in yahoo
Googles Search Algorithm is much better then any other search engine like yahoo, so the search results have a higher quality too. Google dont likes low quality affiliate sites with nothing more then duplicate content. And if you think about it, there is no reason, why such a site should rank high in...

The Seobook Keyword Tool is Based on the Overture API wich has some preblems. It calls the Overture (yahoo) search amounts and estimates the values of other search engines based on market share. BTW. Hi Amy, I am not trying to prove anything, just share some tips. Hope you dont take my post personally. The only thing I want to point on is that a relative value is not much meaningfull. The value 40% of traffic or an increase of 25% could be an increase from 8 to 10 same as 160 to 200. Thats all. ...

As for the comment that the bookmarks will be coming from the same IP, that's not correct. Each member will have to copy the url and paste it into his/her own browser to bookmark it. That way the IPs are different. I am not talking about the Users IPs, I am talking about the Backlink IPs. There are...

But if lots of people bookmark your sites, that gives you more one-way backlinks. Keep in mind that they will come from the same IP and will not weight much. Most of them are nofollow anyway. Yes, you can get some traffic from social Bookmarking Sites. The goal is more traffic. Like I said, my topc...

Look at the last Tab (AOM Forum) of Mikes Test Store. Isnt that what you are looking for? This is done linking the tab to a custom Page and redirecting that page to an external site. Regardless, a simple "external Url" in the AOM Backend Dropdown List would be easyer. Perhaps Justin integrates it in...

If you want to point to another target url then a custom page you could do a liitle workaround by copying the relevant source code for your tabs and put it in an custom box on page top and unpublish the regular tabs. So you can edit the links from your tabs / add another tab pointing to external sit...

Is the blendet Category the only Category you have set? In blendet view aom only displays categorys you have defined in backend. Just make some categorys, for example books, dvd, electronics, etc and save them. You dont have to publish them, just that aom knows which categorys you want to use. In bl...
