Re: dazzyl.com

I don't think we're allowed to use "amazon" anywhere in the url. Besides that, you'll do better with having a site focused on a certain niche. :)

All the best!

Re: Zero conversion

It is still possible to get 50 clicks and 5 sales (5 to 10% conversions). Of course, I rely heavily on original introductions leading to that 1 or 2 products that I've selected to feature for the site.

Hope this approach helps.

Re: need bit of help low earnings :(

Up to how well you can manage the marketing campaigns for each (from design to content to sharing with friends and web). Erm some sites I've seen do pretty well with many (read the forums to see other users' examples). While I'm personally stronger with smaller or single product sites (the ones in m...

Re: Question: Generic domain with specific sub-domains

Was about to try that. However it's quite an uphill task to build many sub directory type sites (ideas gone wild thanks to a generic main domain name). On the bright side, it helps save some $ spending on domains. :) Note that web hosts like Bluehost have a 50,000 files limit from which users would ...

Re: Amazon Store Is not just Showing the Keyword Required

What I know is that AOM grabs the words "3D" from the whole node; any items that has the words "3D" in it would be displayed. "3D", "non-3D", HD-TV ... 3D" etc, would be grabbed. One way I usually do is to filter out some sellers altogether by using the " - " symbol in the categories. eg: 3D tv -sel...

Haha. Thanks! However I've got to say that yours would totally rock miles more than what I can achieve right now.

Re: Do you mind taking a peep?

Loved this!! Yes, it's always way better having a site that doesn't look like an AOM default install. :) More than that, the 3 columns approach looks terrific! Well organized. Would there be any way for users to see if the cart totals sitewide instead of them having to click on the cart to know what...

Re: Keywords Question

Adding on to this question: can that " -* " (if existent) be achieved without the use of ASIN list as the alternative?

Reason: I would prefer having the "Bestselling" option to show up right from the start; ASIN list doesn't have such an option for Bestsellers, Relevance, Alphabetical Order sorting.

Re: Two new sites rolled out. Auto parts and dairy free

Haha. I see! I love AOM for it's ease of setting up and the updated prices for products! I've tried one plugin and saw the demo stores for some other Wordpress plugins, they don't seem to have the items automatically removed (if unavailable already from Amazon) or updated prices. However, beyond hav...

Re: Two new sites rolled out. Auto parts and dairy free

Looks awesomely simple! I liked how the bestsellers' box had the images showing up.

Wordpress plugin was way easier or AOM? :)

Re: Lulled into a false sense of revenue

Haha that being said. This is like my worst month, as compared to my last where I just barely made it through the first jump to 6% this month. However, I've yet to do stuff like content feed (hired writers to write; I'll edit). Was frustrating to not get consistently around the $80-$100 month mark (...

Re: Lulled into a false sense of revenue

Any marketing done (eg: searching for related sites, commenting, forum postings, answer postings, content creation, drip content to site)? I came into AOM knowing that I'll be competing against newer sites, blogs, or against deals sites and established e-commerce sites serving their local space. I'l...
