This section lets you fine-tune how searching works within your store
Search All Products
This controls how the All Products search functions. In prior versions this has always defaulted to Blended. Now you can set the All Products search to query against one of your store categories instead. You can also set the associated Browse Node to something other than what was used for your store category.
Search Within Results
If set to Yes, when a user searches inside a category, they will have an option to search again within those results.
Advanced Search
If set to Yes, when a link will be displayed next to the Search button to go to an Advanced Search page.
Search Combo
If set to Yes, any user-entered search term(s) will be combined with the category-level keywords OR Site Default Keyword (if defined). If set to No, then only the user-entered search term(s) will be used. See our documentation for an in-depth look at how this works. NOTE: Setting this to Yes means you will see more focused search results, but it could also mean you lose out on sales if someone wants to search more generally.
Item Pages
Enter the maximum number of Item page links to be listed from 1 to 400 (10 items per page). Set to 1 if you don't want the page links displayed. NOTE: Number of page links may be less than your specified number depending on results returned.
Marketplace Pages
Enter the maximum number of Marketplace page links to be listed from 1 to 100 (10 offers per page). Set to 1 if you don't want the page links displayed. NOTE: Number of page links may be less than your specified number depending on results returned.
Review Pages
Enter the maximum number of Review page links to be listed from 1 to 999 (5 reviews per page). Set to 1 if you don't want the page links displayed. NOTE: Number of page links may be less than your specified number depending on results returned.
Here is a chart of how these parameters work in conjunction with each other and what would actually get sent to Amazon in search queries based on how the parameters are sent.
