| RSS |
This setting allows you to turn on RSS feeds for your store pages. People can in turn subscribe to your feeds and include them in their RSS reader software and websites. Applicable store pages include Categories, Subcategories, Items and Search Pages. |
| RSS Icons |
If RSS is activated above, this setting will automatically display a small RSS icon on applicable pages to notifiy visitors of your feeds. This will also help web browsers auto-detect your RSS feeds. To change the default RSS icon, simply replace the /aom/images/rss.png file with a different image file. |
| RSS Footer |
This lets you add extra content HTML under each of your RSS feed items such as a link back to your store.
Available Variables:
{SITE_NAME} uses value entered in the Site section
{ITEM_NAME} name of your store item
{ITEM_URL} direct link to your store item |
| Image Size RSS |
Select the item image size to display on the RSS feed pages. If you want to force images to a specific width and/or height specify those. Otherwise leave blank for images to display their normal size. |
| RSS Custom Pages |
Select the maximum number of RSS news feed items to display on RSS Custom Pages (external feeds) |
| RSS Custom Boxes |
Select the maximum number of RSS news feed items to display inside RSS Custom Boxes (external feeds) |
| RSS Link Target |
Select the target window for RSS links. The default is '_blank' which will means the links will open in a new window. |
| RSS External Fields |
For external RSS feeds you can turn off certain RSS fields by unchecking the boxes. |
