Control Panel - Error Settings

This section lets you customize error messages for situations where a search returns no results and where an item is no longer for sale

Error for Search
If provided this error message (any HTML or text) will be displayed instead of the standard Amazon error when there are no search results.
Error for Item Not Available If provided this error message (any HTML or text) will be displayed in cases where an item is no longer available. Otherwise the default message will appear... 'This Item Is No Longer Available'.
Error for No Data If provided this error message (any HTML or text) will be displayed in cases where no data is returned from Amazon. Otherwise the default message will appear... 'The server is busy. Please refresh this page in a moment.'. If you are not getting data returned from Amazon and it happens everytime, then it is most likely related to a server configuration issue on your side. From time to time, Amazon's servers might be busy or slow. If this causes data to not be returned, this would be another case where this error message would be displayed. Note: If this error occurs and you have page caching enabled, the page in question will not be cached which is good. It will be cached only when data is successfully returned from Amazon.
Error for Cart If provided this error message (any HTML or text) will be displayed underneath the standard "Your shopping cart is empty" message (e.g. For example if someone doesn't have cookies enabled or their cart has expired).
Error for API Limit If provided this error message (any HTML or text) will be displayed in cases where you have reached the Amazon API limit.
For more information about their API limits read the Amazon's Efficiency Guidelines.
Error API Limit File If provided, the URL/filename/PHP script you enter here will be included in cases where you have reached the Amazon API limit.
For more information about their API limites read Amazon's Efficiency Guidelines.
Error for HTTP 404 By default, when a page is no longer found in your store (e.g. old category or item pages) users are redirected to your home page. If provided, the URL you enter here will be used as the HTTP 404 Error Page (Page Not Found) for your store.
