Control Panel - Shopping Cart Settings
 
This section lets you turn on the built-in shopping cart. Not available in the LITE edition - see a comparison chart of editions.

Shopping Cart
Whether or not to use the built-in shopping cart. If, Yes, items will be added to the built-in cart and at checkout the cart contents are dumped into the Amazon shopping cart. If, No, the buy buttons will open a new browser window pointing to the specific product page on Amazon's site. Whether you use the built-in cart or not, eventually the shopper will do final checkout on Amazon's site.
Shopping Cart Instructions
If Shopping Cart is enabled above, this HTML will be presented on the view cart screen ( above the cart contents and before checkout at Amazon). This is a good place to put any instructions or other messages.

Display Image Column Whether you want to display a representative image/photo for items in the shopping cart
Display Category
Whether you want to display the Category column in the shopping cart
Display Seller
Whether you want to display the Seller column in the shopping cart. NOTE: Only aplies to Amazon.com (US).
Display Cart Similar Items Whether you want to display links to Similar Items in the shopping cart
Display Cart Similar Viewed Items Whether you want to display links to Similar Viewed Items in the shopping cart
Display Cart Bestsellers Whether you want to display links to Bestselling Items related to Items in the shopping cart
Display Cart New Releases Whether you want to display links to Newly Released Items related to Items in the shopping cart
Buy Button Locations
Select the Buy button locations for buy/add-to-cart buttons on Item/Category pages

Choices:
- Home
- Category Pages (Usual Places)
- Item Pages (Usual Places)
- Item Pages (Bottom)
Buy Button Quantity
Whether you want to quantity box and in stock count to be displayed with buy buttons. Otherwise quantity will not be displayed and is defaulted to 1.
Buy Button Quantity Range If you have Buy Button Quantity above set to Yes, this is the Minimum/Maximum quantity that will trigger the display of the quantity box. Leave blank to always show the quantity box.
Buy Button Type When using the Lite version or when using the Full version with the built-in Shopping Cart turned off, this controls whether buy buttons go to the Amazon product page or Amazon shopping cart.

Choices:
- Amazon Product Page (default)
- Amazon Shopping Cart

Buy Button New Window
When using the Lite version or when the shopping cart is turned off in the Full version, this controls whether or not a new browser window is opened when someone clicks the buy button to go to Amazon.
Buy Button View Cart When the built-in Shopping Cart is turned on, this controls whether or not the buyer is redirected to the view cart screen when clicking a buy button. If set to No, a popup will tell them the item was added to the cart.
Buy Button Digital Goods When the built-in Shopping Cart is turned on, Amazon does not allow digital goods (e.g. MP3 Downloads, Kindle eBooks and Video on Demand) to be added to the cart. Instead these products must be purchased from Amazon's prodct pages. This toggle lets you turn off the display of buy buttons for digital goods.
Checkout New Window When using the built-in Shopping Cart, this controls whether or not a new browser window is opened when someone clicks the checkout button/link to go to Amazon.
Display Quantity In Stock Whether you want to display the actual quantity next to the 'In Stock' message (if known).
Cart Bg Color Odd Choose the background color for odd numbered rows in the cart
Cart Bg Color Even Choose the background color for even numbered rows in the cart
Mini Cart Box Displays dynamic shopping cart contents as a person shops. For Location: L=Left, R=Right
Google Tracking ID If entered, this will enable Google Analytics conversion tracking and automatically place the required code in your store at checkout. The ID is assigned by Google and is in the format UA-XXXXX-X. NOTE: If used, do not enter the Google conversion code in the Cart Checkout Tracking Code setting below.
Cart Checkout Tracking Code This is where you can paste conversion tracking code from a third-party (e.g. Google Analytics) for Cart Checkouts.

Available Variables:
{CARTID}   Amazon shopping cart identifier
{ASIN}   Amazon item number(s) in shopping cart at checkout
{SUBTOTAL}   Shopping cart subtotal (shipping is determined on Amazon)

For example if you wanted to use Google Analytics you can place the code they supply in this box. Then in the dynamic portions of their code you can plug in any of the Available Variables above. This will give you better tracking visibility.

Note: This does not mean they will complete the purchase, but it will allow you to track what people are putting in their carts and what they might purchase.
Cart Add Tracking Code This is where you can paste conversion tracking code from a third-party (e.g. Google Analytics) for Cart Adds.

Available Variables:
{CARTID}   Amazon shopping cart identifier
{ASIN}   Amazon item number(s) in shopping cart at checkout
{SUBTOTAL}   Shopping cart subtotal (shipping is determined on Amazon)
