Amazon Store Type

Select the locale for your Amazon store.

Amazon.com Amazon.co.uk Amazon.ca
Amazon.de
Amazon.fr
Amazon.co.jp
(United States) (United Kingdom) (Canada) (Germany) (France) (Japan)
  since v2.4  since v2.4 since v3.0 since v3.0.5 since v4.4.0

Amazon Associate ID
Enter your Amazon Associate ID. Note: This ID is country-specific (e.g. an ID for the US will not give you credit in a UK store). You must register for an Associate ID from the locale that matches your store... Amazon.comAmazon.co.ukAmazon.caAmazon.deAmazon.frAmazon.co.jp
Amazon Access Key ID Enter your Amazon Access Key ID (a 20-character, alphanumeric sequence). Note: To obtain this ID, you must register with Amazon to open a free AWS account. Click here for more in-depth information.
Amazon Secret Access Key Enter your Amazon Secret Access Key (a 40-character sequence). Note: Keep this Key secure and never share it with anyone but Amazon. Because the Key is saved in a different file (cfg.secretkey.php) than your saved settings file (cfg.saved.php), you can share your saved settings in the forum or with support and your Key remains secure. Another Note: To obtain this Key, you must register with Amazon to open a free AWS account. Click here for more in-depth information.
Amazon Time Offset This allows you to adjust your server connection timestamp forward or backward. Add minutes (e.g. 20) or subtract minutes (e.g. -150). Note: Leave set at zero unless you are seeing errors that your server time is before or after Amazon server time.
Amazon Connection Method This controls how data is pulled from Amazon servers and should not be changed unless you are directed to do so by our support team or you are not able to connect to Amazon and get errors to this effect. Almost always you will want to use Automatic Connection Detection.

Choices:

[RECOMMENDED]  Automatic Connection Detection
[FAST]  REST (file) - Requires allow_url_fopen enabled (php.ini)
[FAST]  REST (curl) - Requires CURL (installed by your web host)
[SLOWER]  SOAP - Requires included /aom/class.soap.php
